1. A Day at the Fruit Market
Lily loves going to the market with her mom. Today, they are buying fresh fruit.
"Mom, can we get some apples?" Lily asks. "They are my favorite!"
Her mom smiles and picks up a few red apples. "Sure, Lily. Apples are very healthy."
They walk to the next stall (摊位), where there are big, yellow bananas. Lily grabs one and says, "This banana is ripe (成熟的). Can we buy some?"
"Of course!" her mom replies. "Bananas are a good snack."
Next, they see oranges. "Do you want oranges too?" her mom asks.
"Yes, oranges are juicy (多汁的)!" Lily says happily.
After they finish shopping, they go home and eat a fruit salad (沙拉) together. It's sweet and delicious!
2. The Picnic Lunch
Tom and his family decide to go on a picnic (野餐). They pack many tasty (美味的) foods in a big basket.
At the park, they sit under a tree. Tom is very hungry. He opens the basket and pulls out a sandwich (三明治). "I love sandwiches with cheese (奶酪) and ham (火腿)," Tom says.
His sister takes out a bottle of juice (果汁). "This orange juice is very fresh," she says, pouring (倒) some into a cup.
Their mom brings a bag of chips (薯片). "These are crunchy (脆的)," she says, and everyone enjoys them together.
After they eat, Tom asks, "Can we have dessert (甜点)?" His mom smiles and takes out some cookies (饼干) and chocolate (巧克力). "Yay!" Tom shouts. They all have a sweet treat to end their picnic.
3. Baking Cookies with Grandma
Emma loves visiting her grandma's house. Today, they are going to bake (烘烤) cookies together.
"First, we need flour (面粉)," says Grandma, opening a big bag. "Can you help me measure it?"
Emma carefully scoops (舀) the flour into a bowl. "What's next?" she asks.
"Now, we add sugar (糖) and butter (黄油). Mix it well," Grandma says, handing Emma a spoon.
Emma stirs (搅拌) the ingredients until they are smooth (光滑的). "This looks yummy already!" she laughs.
Grandma then cracks (打) an egg and adds it to the mixture. "Eggs help make the cookies soft (软的)."
After mixing everything, they shape the dough (面团) into small balls and place them on a baking sheet (烤盘). "Time to bake!" Grandma says, putting the cookies into the oven (烤箱).
When the cookies are done, the whole kitchen smells sweet. "They're golden (金黄色的) and perfect," Emma says, taking a bite. "These are the best cookies ever!"
4. Making a Fruit Smoothie
Ben is excited to make a fruit smoothie (水果冰沙) for breakfast. His mom helps him get the ingredients ready.
"First, we need some fresh strawberries (草莓)," says Ben. He washes them and puts them in the blender (搅拌机).
"Next, let's add a banana," his mom says. Ben peels (剥皮) the banana and breaks it into pieces before adding it to the blender.
"What about milk (牛奶)?" Ben asks.
"Yes, a little bit of milk will make it creamy (奶油状的)," his mom replies, pouring some into the blender.
Ben also wants to add yogurt (酸奶). "It will make the smoothie taste rich (浓郁的)," he says.
Finally, he presses the button, and the blender whirls (旋转) the fruits into a smooth drink. "Look at that!" Ben says, excited to try it.
He pours the smoothie into a glass and takes a big sip. "Mmm, it's sweet (甜的) and refreshing (清爽的)!" he says happily.
5. The Pizza Party
Jack is having a pizza party with his friends. They are making their own pizzas at home.
"Let's start with the dough (面团)," Jack says. He spreads it out on a big pan.
His friend Sarah says, "We need to add some sauce (酱料)." She opens a jar of tomato sauce and spreads it evenly on the dough.
"Now comes the cheese!" Jack's other friend, Max, shouts. He grabs a handful of mozzarella (马苏里拉奶酪) and sprinkles (撒) it all over the pizza.
"What toppings (配料) do we want?" Jack asks. They decide to add pepperoni (意大利辣香肠), mushrooms (蘑菇), and green peppers (青椒).
The pizza looks colorful and delicious. They put it in the oven (烤箱) and wait.
After 20 minutes, the pizza is ready. "It smells so good!" Sarah says as they take it out.
They slice (切) the pizza and each take a piece. "This is the best pizza ever!" Jack says with a big smile.
6. The Ice Cream Surprise
Lucy loves ice cream (冰淇淋). Today, her dad says he has a special surprise for her.
"Let's make homemade ice cream!" her dad says. Lucy is excited. She's never made ice cream before.
"First, we need cream (奶油) and sugar (糖)," her dad explains. Lucy pours them into a big bowl.
"Now we add vanilla (香草) for flavor," her dad says, as he stirs (搅拌) the ingredients together.
"What's next?" Lucy asks.
"We need to freeze (冷冻) it," her dad says. They pour the mixture into a container and put it in the freezer (冰箱).
After a few hours, the ice cream is ready. Lucy can't wait to try it. Her dad scoops (舀) some into a bowl and gives it to her.
Lucy takes a bite. "It's so creamy (奶油般的) and sweet!" she says happily. "This is the best ice cream ever!"
Her dad smiles and says, "You made it yourself, Lucy. That's the surprise!"
7. A Garden Salad
Mia is helping her mom prepare dinner. Today, they are making a fresh garden salad (沙拉).
"Let's start with lettuce (生菜)," her mom says, washing the green leaves. Mia tears (撕) the leaves into smaller pieces and puts them in a big bowl.
"Next, we need some tomatoes (番茄)," her mom adds. They chop (切) the tomatoes into small pieces. "Tomatoes are juicy (多汁的) and delicious!"
Mia also wants to add cucumbers (黄瓜). She slices (切片) the cucumbers and adds them to the bowl.
"What about carrots (胡萝卜)?" her mom asks. "Carrots are crunchy (脆的) and healthy."
Mia grates (刨) the carrots and sprinkles them on top of the salad.
"Now we need dressing (调料)," her mom says. "Let's use olive oil (橄榄油) and vinegar (醋)." They mix the dressing and pour it over the salad.
Mia takes a big bite. "This salad is fresh and tasty!" she says with a smile. "I love it!"
8. The Chocolate Cake
Ella is excited because it's her birthday. She wants to bake (烘焙) a chocolate cake (巧克力蛋糕) with her mom.
"First, we need flour (面粉) and sugar," her mom says, measuring the ingredients. Ella watches closely.
"Now, let's add cocoa powder (可可粉) for the chocolate flavor," her mom explains, pouring it into the bowl.
Ella stirs (搅拌) the mixture and says, "It smells so good already!"
"Next, we need eggs (鸡蛋) and milk (牛奶)," her mom adds. They crack the eggs into the bowl and pour in the milk.
"Let's mix it all together," Ella says, and they use an electric mixer (电动搅拌器) to make it smooth.
After mixing, they pour the batter (面糊) into a round pan and put it in the oven (烤箱). They wait for 30 minutes.
When the cake is done, it looks perfect. "Now we need frosting (糖霜)," Ella's mom says. They spread chocolate frosting on top of the cake.
Ella can't wait to eat it. "This cake is going to be amazing!" she cheers.
9. A Trip to the Grocery Store
Sam and his mom go to the grocery store (杂货店) to buy food for the week.
"First, we need some vegetables (蔬菜)," Sam's mom says. They walk to the produce section (水果和蔬菜区).
"Look at those bright red tomatoes (番茄)!" Sam points out. "Can we get some?"
"Yes, and we need carrots (胡萝卜) too," his mom replies. Sam helps pick the best ones.
Next, they go to the fruit section (水果区). "I want bananas (香蕉)!" Sam says excitedly. His mom puts a bunch in their cart (购物车).
"Don't forget apples (苹果)," his mom reminds him. They choose green apples because they are tart (酸的) and crisp (脆的).
After that, they head to the dairy aisle (乳制品区). "We need milk and yogurt," Sam's mom says. Sam grabs a carton of milk and a container of strawberry yogurt.
Finally, they go to the checkout (收银台). Sam helps his mom put the items on the counter. "We bought so much good food!" he says.
When they get home, they unpack the groceries. "Now we can cook healthy meals (健康餐) together!" his mom smiles.
10. Dinner at Grandma's House
Emily loves visiting her grandma. Tonight, Grandma is making her favorite dinner.
"Grandma, what are we having?" Emily asks as she enters the kitchen.
"We're having spaghetti (意大利面) with meatballs (肉丸)!" Grandma replies with a smile.
Emily watches as Grandma cooks. She boils water (水) for the spaghetti and adds a pinch (少许) of salt (盐).
"Now, let's make the sauce," Grandma says. She chops (切) onions (洋葱) and garlic (大蒜) and sautés (翻炒) them in a pan.
Emily helps by stirring (搅拌) the sauce. "It smells so good!" she says excitedly.
After the spaghetti is cooked, Grandma drains (沥) the water and mixes the noodles with the sauce.
"Now for the meatballs!" Grandma says. She adds the meatballs to the spaghetti. "It's almost ready!"
Finally, they sit down to eat. Grandma serves the spaghetti on big plates and sprinkles (撒) some cheese (奶酪) on top.
Emily takes a big bite. "This is delicious!" she exclaims. "I love Grandma's cooking!"
They enjoy dinner together, laughing and talking about their day.
