1. David's Morning Routine
David's morning begins when his alarm clock (闹钟) rings loudly. He opens his eyes slowly and reaches out to turn off the alarm. With a big yawn (哈欠), David sits up and stretches (伸展) his arms. He pulls back his blanket (毯子) and gets out of bed. Then, he carefully makes his bed by smoothing out (抚平) the sheets and arranging the pillows.
Next, David heads to the bathroom. He turns on the faucet (水龙头) and splashes (泼洒) cold water on his face to wake up fully. After drying his face with a towel, he feels refreshed. He decides it's time to use the toilet. First, he sits down and relieves himself, taking his time to feel comfortable.
Afterwards, David washes his hands with soap (肥皂) under the running water, making sure they are clean. He dries his hands and looks at himself in the mirror (镜子), giving himself a little smile. Ready to start his day, David feels happy and awake, thinking about what lies ahead.
2. A Rainy Commute
This morning, Tom wakes up early for work. He looks outside and sees dark clouds (乌云) in the sky. "Oh no! It's raining (下雨)," he thinks. Tom usually rides his bike, but today he decides to drive (开车) his car to work.
He quickly gets ready, eats breakfast, and leaves his house. As he starts his car, he hopes the rain will stop. But the rain gets heavier (更大). The roads become wet and slippery (滑的). Tom drives carefully, but he notices many cars on the road.
Suddenly, he is stuck in traffic (交通堵塞). Cars are not moving at all! Tom looks at the clock (时钟) and realizes he will be late. "This is so frustrating (令人沮丧)!" he says to himself. He tries to stay calm, but he can't help feeling anxious (紧张的) about his boss.
After what feels like forever, the traffic starts to move again. Tom finally arrives at the office (办公室) 30 minutes late. As he walks in, his boss looks at him with disappointment (失望). "You need to plan better for rainy days," his boss says sternly (严厉地).
Tom feels embarrassed (尴尬的) and promises to leave earlier next time. He learns that sometimes, even the best plans can change because of the weather.
3. A Day at the Supermarket
Today, Mia goes to the supermarket (超市) with her mom. They need to buy some food for the week. First, they walk into the store and grab a shopping cart (购物车). Mia loves to help her mom pick the right items.
They go to the fresh fruit section (水果区). Mia sees bright red apples (苹果) and yellow bananas (香蕉). "Can we get some oranges (橙子) too?" she asks. Her mom smiles and says, "Of course! Oranges are healthy (健康的)."
Next, they visit the vegetable aisle (蔬菜过道). Mia picks some green lettuce (生菜) and crunchy carrots (胡萝卜). "These will make a good salad (沙拉)," she says happily.

4. A Weekend at Home

5. A Morning Routine in the Bathroom

6. A Cozy Bedroom
Lucy loves her bedroom (卧室). It is her favorite place in the house (家). The walls (墙壁) are painted soft blue, and she has a big window (窗户) that lets in a lot of sunlight (阳光). In the morning, the sunlight wakes her up gently.
Her bed (床) is very comfortable (舒适的) with a fluffy (柔软的) white blanket (毯子) and colorful pillows (枕头). Every night, Lucy makes her bed after she wakes up. She likes to keep her room tidy (整洁的).

9. Flying to Visit Grandma

After passing security, they find their gate (登机口) and wait for their flight. Emily looks at the planes (飞机) outside the window. She can't wait to board (登机) the airplane.
When it's time, they walk down the jet bridge (登机桥) and step onto the plane. Emily finds her seat (座位) by the window and puts on her seatbelt (安全带). The flight attendant (空姐) welcomes them and gives safety instructions (安全须知).
As the plane takes off (起飞), Emily feels a little nervous, but then she looks out the window and sees the clouds (云) below. The view is beautiful (美丽的). After a while, the pilot announces that they will land soon.
Finally, the plane lands safely (安全着陆) at the airport where Grandma lives. Emily is happy and excited to see her grandma waiting for her. "I can't wait to tell you all about my flight!" Emily says with a big smile.
10. A Fun Day at the Amusement Park
Last Saturday, Lily and her friends decided to visit the amusement park (游乐园). They were very excited because it was a sunny (阳光明媚的) day. Early in the morning, they packed their bags with snacks (零食), water bottles (水瓶), and sunscreen (防晒霜).
When they arrived at the park, they saw many colorful (色彩斑斓的) rides. The first ride they chose was the roller coaster (过山车). "This is going to be so much fun!" Lily shouted. As they climbed higher (更高) and higher, they felt a rush of adrenaline (肾上腺素). When the ride dropped suddenly, they all screamed with joy (快乐).

In the afternoon, they watched a magic show (魔术表演). The magician (魔术师) amazed everyone with his tricks (把戏). Lily and her friends laughed and clapped (拍手) with excitement.
As the sun began to set (日落), they took one last ride on the Ferris wheel (摩天轮). From the top, they could see the entire park lit up with bright lights (灯光). "What a perfect day!" Lily thought happily.
